International Call of Doctoral Scholarships 2010

20 pre-doctoral 4 year scholarships and contracts per year for the preparation of theses which will be co-directed by members of the UCM and UPM and/or the Campus partner institutions. The requirements for the scholarship have recently been published and the first announcement will be made public in October.

The aid granted is governed by the following conditions in response to the two legal situations in which the research staff in training can be:

a) Scholarship, which will include the first two years from the grant of aid. If at the end of this phase has been completed reading the thesis, the objective of the aid has been achieved and therefore could not conclude the next phase of the contract.

b) Contract work experience / contract labor practices in order to complete his doctoral thesis, which will include a maximum of twenty-four months. Once the transcript certifying that in the research period of Doctoral Program (or obtained the DEA under the previous legislation in force) will enter into a contract in practice with the purpose of preparing his doctoral thesis.
