The group, in its location in the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Biology (UCM), is the only laboratory in Spain, and the few that there are worldwide, which performs analytical ases, with an immunological profile, the "biological age" of each individual (indicative of the aging arte, and therefore predicts better than chronological age the longevity can be achieved). The immunological profile that takes place (which is requested by various Spanish clinics) is scientifically validated as an indicator of health and longevity. Strategies of lifestyle (nutrition and other) are also being established to maintain better immune status and, consequently, a younger biological age. This opens interesting and innovative perspectives in medicine and the health field.
