Archaeology and World Heritage. Activities at the National Archaeological Museum

The research group of Archaeological Heritage from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and belonging to the Moncloa Campus, along with the National Archaeological Museum is organizing a programme of activities related to world Heritage and archaeological management.

Organizing institutions: the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the National Archaeological Museum.

Dates: October-December 2014

The research group of Archaeological Heritage from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and belonging to the Moncloa Campus for the Cultural Heritage cluster, along with the National Archaeological Museum is organizing a programme of activities related to world Heritage and archaeological management.

These two centres have joined together to spread the archaeological dimension in the world heritage, the activities will take place from October to December.

The activities at the museum are as follows:

October 2nd at 6:30: Lecture “The world Heritage archaeological dimension” given by Alicia Castillo UCM.

October 9th at 5:30: Premiere of the documentary and a debate session: Title: "Un pasado con futuro. De la Arqueología al Patrimonio Mundial"

November and December: experimental routes guided by students from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
