The use of coating is a widespread practice in diverse industrial areas like the sector of energetic, transports and petrochemical industry. Offering a competitive material such as the substrate of a component protected with coatings presents important financial benefits compared to the associated costs if we change the material of the component.

During this conference, the expert will present the behavior of diverse cermets coating based on Ni alloys which are processed by laser cladding. This process is being studied by Department of Mechanical Technology of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.
