Great success at the Researchers' Night at the Moncloa Campus

Over thousand people attended the School of Forestry at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid to enjoy Science with the activities organized by the Moncloa Campus at the Researchers' Night.

Despite rain throughout the day, hundreds of people did not missed out the chance to participate in the activities of the UPM that took place on 28th of September to celebrate, as in many other places in Europe, the Researcher’s Night.

There were non-stop performances from six pm until 12pm, the audience could enjoy with special artists.

Researchers at the Moncloa Campus gave a great concert, participants could see how magic tricks are related to science as well as experimenting with chemical reactions resulting of our cooking every day, and to end, they composed music by using math concepts.

Most of the activities took place at the auditorium of the School of Forestry, but other activities were celebrated outdoor thank to installing big tops.

Although the astronomical observations were suspended due to the weather, they organized a workshop based on the recognition of plants and other activities related to the areas of physics and astronomy.
