Summary
Achieving high efficiency when using resources, raw materials and new production processes compatible with the environment are great challenges. Thus, the usage of raw materials of natural origin to obtain chemical products of high added value is of a great interest.
Optimizing synthetic methods based on natural origin products will help to reduce our dependence on a non-renewable resource such as oil. In this talk, an overview of progress in this scientific field will be shown.
