The School of Architecture of Madrid UPM is hosting an introductory course on Geographical Information System (GIS) applied to studies of territory and city from the 17th February to the 12th March.
The event is to held at the International Centre for Advanced Studies on Heritage (CIESPC) of the Moncloa Campus, a joint centre between the UPM and the UCM. This centre aims to actively contribute to the development of scientific research and knowledge transfer in the area of cultural heritage.
The course is addressed to students or experts in those areas related to territory, geography, urban planning and environment. The course will provide a knowledge basis that would allow the access to software which is essential to perform studies of territory.
