This seminar is an activity organized within the framework of the Campus Moncloa: Campus of International Excellence through the research groups PAREFRAS (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and DISCYT (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid).

This seminar tackles the communication and the specialized speech from a socio-cognitive and pragmatic approach and focused on the presence and usage of both linguistic and conceptual resources as it occurs with the metaphor and metonymy in the language of specialty in English and Spanish.
