Summer courses at CIE Moncloa 2012 within the El Escorial Courses

The Summer Courses organized by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid every year are a reference for discussing ideas and opportunity for intellectual exploration and cultural enrichment through academic and scientific resources of the University.

In order to extend to summer the work of transference to society of the knowledge and scientific research, the Moncloa Campus is organizing a course entitled: ”œSATELLITE OBSERVATION AND NATURAL HAZARDS” belonging to the Global Change and New Energies Cluster.

The course will be held in San Lorenzo del Escorial from 16th to 20th July and is organized by experts of the UCM and the UPM and has the support of participants of public or private institutions as well as international experts.

This course aims to give a broad view of the research on ground deformation by the technique of radar observation of a satellite in order to study natural hazards, and therefore risk mitigation.
