Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans for Ciudad Universitaria
The Moncloa Campus along with the Consorcio Urbanístico of Ciudad Universitaria de Madrid, the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid and the Delegación Rectoral para el Medio Ambiente of the UCM have launched a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for Ciudad Univesitaria.

The Moncloa Campus along with the Consorcio Urbanístico of Ciudad Universitaria de Madrid, the Consorcio Regional de Transportes de Madrid and the Delegación Rectoral para el Medio Ambiente of the UCM have launched a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for Ciudad Univesitaria.
The plan is also promoted by the Universidad Complutense, the Unviersidad Politécncia, the UNED, research centers and other institutions located in the campus of Ciudad Universitaria. The idea arises from the need to achieve a campus that is sustainable, healthy and socially responsible.
A multidisciplinary team of experts is to analyze and diagnose the mobility and the current transport system in order to detect weaknesses for the mobility at the campus in terms of functionality, efficiency and sustainability.
Then, they will design an action plan that provides the infrastructures needed to canalize the mobility in order to give a good service, sustainability, safety and health for all users that take part in the Ciudad Universitaria of Madrid.
Ciudad Universitaria has created a poll in order to know the transport habits, and there will be a draw to encourage participation. The draw will be sent to the staff of the centres
