Summary

UPM are participating in the GtoG Life project which is coordinated by EUROGYPSUM and in where there are also other 15 European entities engaged to the value chain of gypsum board.

The main goal of the project is the identification and definition of good practices of selective demolition in European buildings in order to ease waste recycling of gypsum board generated and to achieve higher percentages of recycled gypsum in their manufacturing.

During the first tasks, which include the Preparatory Actions, researchers have identified and defined the current practices in eight countries under study: Poland, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Greece and Spain.

The first results and the next step to follow will be introduced during the International Seminars.
