  • Landscape Architecture
    Objetives: Research line focused on design, planning, management, conservation and rehabilitation of the territory.
  • Parametric Tree Species Autecology
    Objetives: Systematic characterization of the habitats of the Spanish forest species through ecological parameters, with special emphasis on the identification of potential habitats of these species.
  • Rural Development , Farming Areas and Agro-ecology
    Objetives: Strategies for rural development by looking for innovative resources (land stewardship, cultural and natural heritage) to enhance living in rural areas. Research focus on agricultural periurban areas and their role in land planning.
  • Landscape Ecology
    Objetives: Considers dynamics, organization and the horizontal structure of natural and anthropogenic landscapes with special attention to physical-environmental transformative agents.
  • Landscape studies
    Objetives: Research line focused on analysis, mapping, planning assessment, protection and landscape management.
  • Environmental assessment (EIA and SEA)
    Objetives: Development of methodologies for strategic environmental assessment of policies and plans. Furthermore it includes environmental impact assessment of projects.
  • Gardening and landscaping
    Objetives: It is the art and practice of cultivating gardens. It implies any activity intended to modify the visible features of an open or closed space (field). It involves the use of flowers, trees, or vegetables, either for delight, aesthetics or food production reasons.
  • Land management and Physical Planning
    Objetives: Research line focused on land use planning taking into account biophysical conditions of the territory.
  • Participation, governance and land planning
    Objetives: Participatory process for Action Research. Local Policies for Good Governance
  • Environmental Restoration
    Objetives: Studies and projects of rehabilitation for recovery of damaged areas by human activity (mining industry, public works, exploitation, etc.
  • Forest Soils
    Objetives: Line of research based on the assessment, description and classification of forest soils and the identification and evaluation of soil degradation.
