Mª. Ángeles Querol receives the European Archaeological Heritage Prize 2015

Mª. Ángeles Querol is a full Professor of Archaeology at UCM and the head of the Cultural Heritage cluster at Moncloa Campus.

Mª. Ángeles Querol, a full Professor of Archaeology at UCM and the head of the Cultural Heritage cluster of Moncloa Campus, was awarded the European Archaeological Heritage Prize 2015 during the meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists held in Glasgow.

Querol Fernández has thus established herself as a leading figure within Spanish archaeology and heritage management. She is offering an important contribution to the understanding of what archaeology and heritage management should be doing as a visible and valuable social and democratic practice.
