An International symposium about Academic Training on Cultural Heritage Management

The Cultural Heritage cluster of the Moncloa Campus is organizing an international symposium about Academic Training on Cultural Heritage Management (FORUN-GPC) that will take place September 17-19.

The Cultural Heritage cluster of the Moncloa Campus is organizing an international symposium about Academic Training on Cultural Heritage Management (FORUN-GPC) that will take place September 17-19. This congress will be held at the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute and will gather professors from 23 universities worldwide responsible for postgraduate studies on cultural heritage. The congress will count on the participation of experts on the Cultural heritage management from institutions such as the European Council and UNESCO.

The participants will talk about their previous experience: the interdisciplinary nature of contents, the disparate backgrounds of professors and students, internships and Final Projects, logistical issues, etc.

The results of this congress will help to design the future Master degree programme “The Cultural Heritage in 21st century: management and research (PC21)” that will start in 2015 being part of the CIE Moncloa International Postgraduate School. This master will have the participation of 10 faculties and schools and 31 departments belonging to the universities of the Moncloa Campus: the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
