i-Health cluster of the CIE Campus Moncloa aims the excellence in projects, publications and surveys

The cluster for Innovation in Health of the Campus Moncloa has four main areas of action which include the telemedicine and the most advance equipment in magnetic resonance.

The cluster for Innovation in Health of the Campus Moncloa has four main areas of action which include the telemedicine and the most advance equipment in magnetic resonance.

The areas of research of the cluster for Innovation in Health are: design and synthesis of diagnostic and therapeutic tools, biomedical imaging platform, medical information and the Living-Lab platform.

Amongst the new facilities associated to the cluster for Innovation in Health, there is a virtual reality room in the Living-lab to carry out, for example, experiences of rehabilitation, treatment of phobias and improving learning processes in people with autism.

Under the Innocampus Project of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the cluster for Innovation in Health can fund other equipment of the CAI Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, one of them is the most powerful magnetic resonance device supported by the international medical bodies for the scientific study of the morphology of the human body.

Apart from the research, they are working to prepare an Official Interuniversity Master in Innovative Medicine, which has to comply with the requirements of the Erasmus Mundus.
