International experts will meet at the Moncloa Campus to talk about cultural heritage management at the gpc-forun

The Heritage cluster of the Moncloa Campus is organizing an international symposium about “University Training in Cultural Heritage Management (FORUN-GPC)” that will take place in September.

The Heritage cluster of the Moncloa Campus is organizing an international symposium about “University Training in Cultural Heritage Management (FORUN-GPC)” that will take place in September. This congress that will be held at the Montegancedo Campus (UPM) will gather professors responsible for master of Cultural Heritage coming from 25 universities worldwide as well as 25 experts on the management of cultural property.

During the three-days of the symposium, the participants will provide ideas from their own experience about interdisciplinary contents, professors and the difficulties involved in this process. Participants will explain the disparity of academic backgrounds of professors and students, how internships are organized, logistical issues and so on.

The obtained results will improve the future content of the Master in Management of Cultural Heritage during the 21st century (GPC21) which is expected to start in 2015 and will have the participation of 15 schools and centres and 31 departments of the two universities of the Moncloa Campus, UCM and UPM.
