The definitive mark is pending approval after the allegation period.

The Moncloa Campus has achieved the highest score: A-. Good progress in the assessment report made by the International committee of the Ministry of Education involved in the analysis between 2011 and 2013.

The report highlights as main strengths of the CIE Moncloa Campus research, the recruitment of international talent, the wide range of advanced instrumentation, The Agri-food corridor as an initiative to preserve the environment and innovative actions such as the Governance School and the Materials Week. It is also remarkable the change of the campus thanks to the Moncloa Campus: the museum, general accessibility and the new library of María Zambrano.

Under the title of “the energy of diversity” the Moncloa Campus is defined as a joint project of the Complutense de Madrid and Politécnica de Madrid which integrate other entities of the Ciudad Universitaria.

The Moncloa Campus is developing a model of integral campus which is unified, sustainable, and socially responsible and which acts as an agent of the cultural life of Madrid.

The committee suggests a better integration of both universities in the project and points out some administrative obstacles. It is recommended a merge of the Moncloa Campus with the Montegancedo Campus of the Universidad Politécnica.
