The Moncloa Campus was visited by a Commission audit organised by the Ministry of Education and composed of independent experts during the 28th and 29th June. They exchanged views with the heads of the campus, as well as the actors who make possible the development of activities.
During the first day, Moncloa Campus Executive Committee made a presentation of the activities undertaken and their achievement. Secondly, the clusters coordinators reported the development of their lines of work highlighting the importance that the campus has for scientists. The presentation of the new website, which aims to reach a wider audience, rounded off the event.
The second day began with a meeting between young people who had accessed Moncloa Campus through its human resources program, PICATA. They could exchange their experiences and impressions with the head of faculty, as well as visiting experts. The rest of the program focused on different visits to the facilities and equipment of Moncloa Campus.
The governing staff of the University Complutense of Madrid and the audit committee participated in a working lunch where both Deans expressed support for the Moncloa Campus and the wish of continuing to promote the development of the project and ensuring high level of excellence.
The final evaluation report will be announced in late October, after an international commission assesses the work that has been done so far.
