Campus Moncloa
Campus of International Excellence
MaterialsWeek 2013
April 26, 29 & 30, 2013
ETS de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos
The cluster of Material for the Future of the Moncloa Campus aims to boost the social presence of the CIE Moncloa as well as the synergy among professors, researchers, students and enterprises within the field of Materials Science and Engineering. This event has the priority of sharing experiences, knowledge, technologies and ideas that can contribute to the excellence of the CIE Moncloa for the benefit to society.
We consider that these commitments must be promoted from our Campus, above all taking into account the current economic circumstances that lead lack of motivation of society.
The MaterialsWeek aims to contribute hope and optimism in the near future that we truly believe is going to be much better than we can imagine at these moments. For this reason, why do not we show how we are building future from the CIE Moncloa?
The MaterialsWeek will be held at the school of Civil Engineering and will have various events: lectures, debates, presentation of research areas and enterprises, a workshop on Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, demos, courses, visits, open days, specialized photography contests, innovation, video and talent shows, all these activities will be given in Spanish and English.
These activities are mainly addressed to students, companies, researchers and professors that belong to the Moncloa Campus and have some link with the field of Materials. However, we aim to catch the attention of society in general, other universities, institutions and companies.
Do not miss the MaterialsWeek out!
