Campus Moncloa continues to focus on the young talent and with this third call for postdoctoral contracts aims to promote the incorporation of researchers to help strengthen the collaborative work between research groups of the six clusters: Global Change and New Energies, Materials for the Future, Agri-Food and Health, i-Health, Heritage and Sustainable mobility.
Andrés Santos Lleo, a professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering, will be the coordinator of the i-heath cluster at the UPM

The vice-chancellor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Carlos Conde, has recently appointed Andrés Santos Lleo as the new coordinator of i-Health cluster, replacing Mº Teresa, who was responsible for the cluster up to the present moment.

Learning from innovative local strategies for European cities in decline

The research group coordinated by Simón Sánchez-Moral, a Ramón y Cajal Researcher at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid belonging to the Heritage cluster of the Moncloa Campus, which includes Ricardo Méndez and José Prada (CSIC), examines the concept of "Shrinking Cities" in depth to attempt to understand the keys to economic recovery of some European cities in decline. A synthesis of this study has just been published by the OECD along with a selection of best practices worldwide.
