Spanish technology and a porject with future: EPISOL vehicle

Researchers at the University Institute for Automobile Research (INSIA) of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid belonging to the Sustainable mobility Cluster within the framework of Moncloa Campus and in collaboration with the Industrial Automation Institute (IAI-CSIC) and CEMUSE Company are participating in the EPISOL project which aims to design and to make a lightweight urban vehicle with hybrid electric propulsion.

The Cannabinoid Research Group from the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid belonging to the Innovate Medicine within the Moncloa Campus has found that compound THCV has had successfully results in animal models of Parkinson's disease.

The combination of a new kind of emerging materials, the complex oxides, with the recent creation of a new type of electrochemical transistors, have turn into a powerful tool capable of generating electric fields 10 times stronger than those of lightning. This discovery represents a revolution in the fields of nanotechnology and basic energy science, allowing the possibility to drastically change the behavior of a material just by applying an electric field.
