Exhibition: "The Computing Centre of Madrid Complutense University (1968-1982): from the numerical analysis to the open creativity"

The exhibition opened on May 31th at The Complutense Art Centre (Museum of Costume, Ciudad Universitaria) and will be open until July 12th. The exhibition was organized by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid within the framework of the Moncloa Campus along with the collaboration of Universidad de Pública de Navarra, the Universidad de Alicante and the ACE (Acción Cultural Española).

The exhibition opened on May 31th at The Complutense Art Centre (Museum of Costume, Ciudad Universitaria) and will be open until July 12th. The exhibition was organized by the Universidad Complutense de Madridwithin the framework of the Moncloa Campus along with the collaboration of Universidad de Pública de Navarra, the Universidad de Alicante and the ACE (Acción Cultural Española).

Cristina Velázquez, Vice Chancellor of University Community Care of the UCM, and Aramis López, the curator of the exhibition: ”œThe Computing Centre of Madrid Complutense University (1968-1982): from the numerical analysis to the open creativity” inaugurated the exhibition which shows the participation of the Computing Centre of Madrid Complutense University in the most avant-garde artistic creation in the seventies of the XX century.

The exhibition is a tribute to all those pioneers: professors, artists and researchers who participated in the start and development of the Computing Centre of Madrid Complutense University.
