La aportación es fundamentalmente el estudio de la Ciencia y la tecnología de productos Pesqueros. Este estudio del procesado tiene una influencia evidente en la salud y el gusto del consumidor. El grupo estudia principalmente cuestiones relativas a la valorización de subproductos pesqueros.
