  • Valuation of the nutritional condition of diverse groups
    Objetives: Study of the nutritional status in diverse groups of the Spanish population: elders, sportsmen, women pregnants , children and adolescents
    Methodologies: Accomplishment of dietetic surveys, indicators biochemistries. corporal composition, indirect calorimetry, bioimpedance.
  • Improvement and validation of tools used in nutritional studies
    Objetives: Analysis of the methodology to using to evaluate and to improve the nutritional status of the individuals
    Methodologies: Nutritionals objetives, study antropometric, dietetically, recommended dietary allowances, tables of food composition, data bases of food composition.
  • Study of the repercussion of the nutritional imbalances in sanitary and functional aspects
    Objetives: The nutritional evaluation can detect subclinical signs before diseases appear with biochemical, hematologic and functional alterations
    Methodologies: Functional capacity, biochemical index, cognitive function, mood, strengh, breast milk composition.
  • Nutritional education: Utilization of the knowledge in the nutritional improvement of the population
    Objetives: Promote food correct habits for every group, group of age.
    Methodologies: Nutritional education, guide of alimentation, nutritional intervention, detected ignorance.
  • Evaluation of the efficiency and safety of compounds bioactivos/functional food
    Objetives: Design of clinical tests of dietetic intervention to evaluate the beneficial effects of this type of food of preventive and therapeutic form on diverse pathologies.
