The main expertise of the Bacterial Biotechnology group is related to the microbial food safety field. However, the main contribution to the Moncloa Campus is the experience on the characterization and production of bacterial proteins useful for the elaboration of safe, healthy and quality food products. In addition, the research group collaborate with teams involved in the elucidation of protein structure, as well as the support immovilization of those proteins. The results of this multidisciplinar collaboration allows a rational improvement of industrial useful proteins.
